🎗️ $500k Friendship Grant for Redondo

The Friendship Foundation announced a $500,000 grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation to support its new Friendship Campus in Redondo Beach, set to open in early 2026. The facility will provide vocational training and job placement for students with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities, aiming to bridge the gap between education and workforce needs. 🐾 Paws for Celebration: New Dog-Run Set for Pollywog Park

MB PublicWorks has finally approved the design of a new dog run at Pollywog Park. It’s been on the docket for a while - but costs were through the woof! (sorry!). It will include a 10 ft. wide, 130 ft. long dog run, dog bone-shaped benches, shade structures, and a double-use water fountain with a spout for humans and a bowl for dogs. Pollywog Park is now sure to be the pick of the litter for dog owners and their furry friends! Full Story here.
