good times ahead in the South Bay. This week, we’re spoiling you

Dive into Earth Day fun with the Roundhouse Aquarium! This hands-on, ocean-loving celebration is packed with exciting exhibits, eco games, and marine adventures for all ages. Catch the fin-tastic lineup of 30-minute activities:

  • 10:30 am: Dolphin & Wildlife Search (bring your binoculars!)

  • 11:30 am: Plankton Races (round 1)

  • 1:00 pm: Meet Our Fish + Feeding Time

  • 2:00 pm: Dolphin & Wildlife Search (again!)

  • 3:00 pm: Plankton Races (round 2)

    You’ll have a whale of a time - no trout about it!

What’s a South Bay weekend without a Carnival?! Thankfully, The Promenade PV is staging their Spring Carnival for the 2nd year! Lots of fun, food, and activities for the whole family, including the Easter Bunny, a Parachute Egg Drop, the Super Egg Hunt, and Grand Prix racing for kids! The carnival rides are open Friday at 5 PM, Sat/Sun at noon onwards. So skip the traffic and head for the thrills - because who needs Coachella when you’ve got cotton candy and a kiddie Grand Prix?

April is Earth Month! So, if honoring the planet and the everyday heroes who protect it feels like the right way to kick off your weekend, head to Hopkins Wilderness Park this Saturday for South Bay Parkland Conservancy’s annual Earth Day celebration. Check out the booths, activities, crafts, live music, and meet the dedicated volunteers from local environmental groups. Fresh air fun at its finest!
