🎬 South Bay Film Fest - Movies Shot on Location in the South Bay

Who doesn't love a movie shot in their own backyard? The South Bay Film Fest promises plenty of recognizable locales this year in their two short films and full-length feature. Catch Academy award nominated ‘SkaterDater,’ the first skateboard movie shot in the South Bay, and ‘To Be Frank,’ a tribute to local surf legend Frank Paine. The feature is Men at Work- the 1990 screwball comedy filmed in Redondo Beach. Enjoy a silent auction, a live auction, and the student film awards kicking off at 4 pm at the HB Community Theatre tomorrow (Friday) evening. More Info.

🏐 The Spring Classic - Volleyball Tourney & Beer and Wine Festival

Get ready to sip, spike, and soak up the sun; the Spring Classic is back and bringing the ultimate beachside bash to Seaside Lagoon! Over 20 beers, wine, and spirits to sample all day, a coed volleyball tourney with $2K in prizes, top local DJs, the best bites from nearby spots, and a dunk tank for a good cause. Celebrate the Pacific Gray whale's incredible migration from the Arctic to Baja California!
