🎪 Springfest 42 starts today at 5 pm!

Springfest 2025 is here! The North Redondo Beach Business Association presents the 42nd year of Springfest at the Redondo Beach Performing Art Center, located on the corner of Aviation and Manhattan Beach Boulevard. The event runs all weekend, from today through Sunday. Make it a family af-fair! There are carnival rides, a kids' zone, live music, food trucks, and more! More info here.
Ghost, an 18-month-old stray Husky known as the "most shut down dog" at Carson Animal Shelter, was finally rescued after Shadow Husky Rescue stepped in and secured a loving new home for the internet-famous K9. Ghost’s TikTok videos garnered nearly 6 million views, showing him too frightened to eat or move. His plight touched countless hearts, so it’s fantastic news that this Ghost-story has a happy ending! Vin Folk may be just four months old, but it’s already making a splash on Hermosa Ave- earning major praise (Time Out) for serving upscale cuisine and top-tier service without the jaw-dropping bill. This 45-seat, chef-run bistro specializes in French-leaning fare with a modern twist, plus an excellent (and budget-friendly) wine selection, sommelier-approved! Since 1984, just a few steps off the Strand, Martha’s has been Hermosa’s go-to indoor/outdoor spot for a bubbly brunch and feel-good eats! Serving up delicious breakfast and lunch daily, locals can’t get enough of their famous Breakfast Burrito and top-rated White Corn Scramble. And don’t get me started on the rest of the menu- it’s egg-ceptional! They’ve got an app for ordering online and loads of great Martha’s merch- hats, hoodies, tees, and bags. More info here.
