🌳 New 2.5-acre Park in Redondo Beach

There’s a new park coming right up from the AES power plant in RB. It covers 2.5 acres and has been in the works for years—now it’s all systems go! Check out the official story here.

🎬 Former Arclight Cinema in El Segundo Reopens

After closing during the pandemic, the Arclight underwent major refurbishments and reopened this week as CinemaWest Beach Cities. With 16 screens and a Pink’s Hot Dog restaurant that serves alcohol—the silver screen never sounded so good! Full story here.

🛹 Redondo Beach Skate Park Dedicated

The long-awaited Redondo Beach Skate Park was officially dedicated on January 29, 2024. The 10,000-square-foot facility features a striking 90 x 18-foot mural, “Skate Waves” by Andy Jenkins. Full story here.

🦈 Giant Shark Mural Coming to Manhattan Beach

The MB City Council voted 3-2 to have a giant shark spray-painted on the Civic Center parking lot at City Hall! Full story here.
